About Us

After visiting a remote location in Tasmania where homes were powered solely with renewable energy, our eyes where opened to the realisation that we could live a more sustainable lifestyle.

The birth of our first daughter coincided with the release of the International Panel on Climate Changes’ findings. It was clear, climate change was real and we were on the road to leaving an uncertain future for today’s children unless we could reduce our carbon footprint.

Thus was born the desire to learn ways to reduce our impact on the environment. After completing an Advanced Diploma in Renewable Energies, we halved our own electricity consumption and realised we needed to share this information with others. Energy Consulting Australia was created to offer energy reduction services including auditing & the implementation of renewable energy systems.

This would not only reduce energy use for households and businesses but also show people that they can use less electricity and or install alternative energy sources too reduce their overall impact on the environment.
